About the Conference

Conference Announcement / Call for papers
The 6th Greater Mekong Subregion
International Conference (GMSIC) 2019

The Knowledge Discovery of Social Science for Development in GMS

Faculty of Business Administration, Nong Khai Business School, Khon Kaen University, Nong Khai Campus, Faculty of Economics and Business Management, National University of Laos,  Faculty of Business Administration, Rachcpak Institute and Thai Researcher Association are located at the Gateway to the Greater Mekong Subregion community and thus being a suitable location for research and cooperation in the region, particularly in the face of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) 2015.The faculties are aspired to be a leading business education institution in the GMS countries with its advantage in location, situating between the border of Nong Khai province of Thailand and Vientiane, the capital of Lao PDR.
Hoping to create research and academic network in the GMS region and other countries worldwide, the faculties, therefore, hosts the 5th The Greater Mekong Subregion International Conference (GMSIC) 2019 The Knowledge Discovery of Social Science for Development in GMS.

The conference would be of significant advantages for scholars, students, researchers and interested persons to exchange knowledge of modern business management or economics and create a network that leads to cooperation between domestic education institutes, ASEAN country organizations and international organizations in the challenge of the AEC 2016.

Conference Topics

The conference is open to university academics, entrepreneurs,  Business and SME owners, policy-makers, financial institutions, government agencies, consultants and practitioners from all over the world. An abstract or full paper may be submitted in one of the following areas:

Submission Guidelines:

Submission of Conference Full Paper (Conference Proceedings)

       All full papers should be written in English according to the Full paper template. The length of the full paper should not exceed 20 pages (A4-size, approximately 5,000 words) and must be submitted electronically to by May 30th, 2019. Abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts and full papers will be published in the conference proceedings (CD-ROM). Both the Book of Abstracts and the Conference Proceedings will be distributed at the conference. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference. The authors may choose their types of presentation as a poster or oral presentation during the on-line registration.

Publication Opportunity

Review Process and Publication Opportunity:
•  The review committee will review all submitted papers and the contact author for each paper will be notified of the outcome of a blind peer review process by e-mail. If necessary, authors will be requested to revise and/or resubmit their papers.
•  All accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Selected papers will be published in an edited book.

•  Selected Papers will be potentially considered for 

  • Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation Journal.
  • Research Journal of Rejapark Institute




     • Registration Rate:        100 US Dollars per paper

Payment                          Pay at the conference venue by cash only

1)  The registration fee cannot be refunded when the VISA application of individual being denied or the registered author is unable to attend.
2)    Co-author is required payment

·        Admission to the Welcome Reception & all sessions
·        A Printed Certificate of Conference
·        To have your paper published in Proceedings on CD.
·        Consideration of your paper for inclusion in the Journals, which cooperate with the conference.

·        The registration fee is non-refundable.
